Sinteza sunetului si a designului

Sunet dinamic, eleganta eterna: succesoarea incintei de cult CL 330 dispune acum de un difuzor midbass cu cursa lunga de inalta tehnologie germana ce permite noii 330.3 sa fie ascultata in camere mai mari. Aceasta incinta este dotata cu legendarul tweeter JET si cu noul midbass LLD: debutat in extraordinara incinta hi-end FS 609X-PI, acelasi difuzor cu tehnologie LLD este acum prezent si in noua incinta acustica 330.3 JET.

ELAC 330.3 JET este livrata impreuna cu o noua placa superioara special proiectata pentru standul LS 65 (disponibil ca accesoriu).

The ELAC JET tweeter is one of the most legendary tweeters in the hi-fi trade and has won international renown with its unusual transparent and effortless sound image.

The JET tweeter was delveloped to perfection on the basis of the famous 'Air Motion Transformer' by loudpseaker pioneer Dr Oskar Heil. Its principle: a concertinaed foil membrane is driven by a strong magnet system of neodymium rods.

This 'motor' drives the air considerably faster than the conventional pistonic technique. High sensitivity and extraordiary dynamics are the result. Due to continuous improvement, the JET III tweeter now creates an effortless and airy resonance-free image up to 50,000 Hz, and with its linear frequency response is ideally suited for the reproduction of DVD-A and SACD.

LLD Driver Technology

The new LLD driver technology (Long Linear Drive) is based on the movement of a short-wound coil (winding height: 6.5 mm) in a long air gap (height: 16 mm) with a homogeneous magnetic field. This design results in extremely linear (without distortions) movement within an amplitude of ±8 mm. The voice coil exactly mirrors the applied audio signal.
The maximum displacement is an impressive ±16 mm.

ELAC’s new woofers use high-quality titanium bobbins for greater mechanical stability. This also reduces eddy-current losses and helps achieve deeper and more precise bass reproduction.
Neodymium magnets are used to increase magnetic flux density and to save space, providing optimum magnetic field geometry and greater efficiency.
Using several small magnetic plates reduces air noise and helps to keep the temperature low even under high load.

The aluminium sandwich woofers of the FS 609 X-PI, the ELAC 330.3 JET, and of the SUB 2060 ESP use this new LLD driver technology.
