ELAC 120 Series Tweeter - aluminium-magnesium-manganese alloy dome

HT 25 KST V tweeter.

A 25mm special tweeter with Aluminium-Magnesium-Manganese alloy dome with integrated phaser and wave guide. The dome and voice coil former are made of one piece. Sensitive glueing joints are thus avoided and distortions efficiently prevented. The driver is extremely heat-resistant.

The shielded powerful magnet system provides for high efficiency.

Bass and Midbass Unit

ELAC 120 Series AS cone midbass - paper and aluminium

TT 140 AS midbass used in: CC 121, BS 123, FS 127.

The woofers of the 120 Series are designed in the ELAC proprietary aluminium sandwich technique. In a special glueing procedure, an aluminium foil of 0.2mm is joint to a pulp fibre cone to form a sandwich membrane.

The result: reduced partial oscillations, no distortions and an optimised large signal behaviour.

In combination with the aluminium-coloured tweeters, the aluminium sandwich woofers also make innovative technology a visual experience.
