Perfect miniaturisation - The Desktop 2.1 speaker system is made up of the MicroSUB 2010 BT - probably the world's smallest hi-fi subwoofer - and two satellites as big as your fist in resonance-free extruded high quality aluminium design. This mini Desktop 2.1 speaker system shows that it does not require massive speakers to create big sound!

The Desktop 2.1 speaker system with the MicroSUB 2010 BT is optimised for music reproduction even at very close range (1-3 m) and takes up the minimum amount of space on the desk, sideboard, windowsill or shelf in your office, study or bedroom.

As a special feature the MicroSUB 2010 BT has a Bluetooth® interface (A2DP), for wireless connection to notebooks, MP3 players or “MP3 mobiles”, provided that they support the high-quality audio format (A2DP) of the Bluetooth® interface.

301.2 satellites

The 301.2 derives its dynamism and musical sensitivity from the combination of a high quality aluminium cabinet, the latest chassis technology and a coaxial arrangement of the oval 78 x 108 mm midwoofer and 20 mm treble dome.

The position of the treble membrane, made of fine silk fabric, directly in front of the cone with its aluminium sandwich membrane, is not just the precondition for the extremely compact speaker dimensions, but also guarantees a precisely located reproduction of all instruments and voices, independent of the loudspeaker.

The 78x108 mm oval mid-woofer with broad rubber surround is worked in ELAC's proprietary aluminium-sandwich diaphragm. In a special glueing procedure, an 0.2 mm aluminium foil is joined with a pulp fibre cone to form a sandwich diaphragm.

The result: reduced partial oscillations, no distortions, precision, and optimum large signal behaviour. Moreover, the woofer of the ELAC 301.2 is magnetically shielded.

Little Bit Sub: MicroSUB 2010 BT

This little mite, just 21.8 cm tall, contains four amplifiers (two for the two bass drivers and two for the two connected satellites), making this Desktop 2.1 speaker system a complete hi-fi music system.
