The DAC Module is a five-input expansion card with an integrated DAC system adding five digital inputs. The DAC system is built around a highly respected 24bit/192kHz Burr Brown decoder and fed by multiple regulated power supplies.

The optional DAC card can be fitted to the Cyrus 6 DAC and Cyrus 8a integrated amplifiers to expand their inputs to 11. The five digital inputs include 2 x optical, 2 x SpDIFF and a USB input for use with computers. Connecting a computer allows the possibility to playback files from your PC or MAC. One example is using  your iTouch/iPhone and the Remote App to control iTunes. Simply run a lead from a USB output on the computer and connect it to the Cyrus DAC systems input and the computer sees Cyrus as a sound card and sends across digital files to be decoded and improved by the audiophile Cyrus circuitry. If you save your computer music as good quality files the sound quality potential is amazing.
